  1. 2008–2012

    Founding Principal of Two Schools

    Founding principal of the Lewisville ISD Night High School and the John Leslie Patton, Jr. Academic Center in Dallas ISD, creating new pathways for non-traditional students.

  2. 2013

    Teen Summit 225

    Created the Teen Summit 225 to address systemic issues of poor education and gun violence. This summit was hosted by radio personality Latangela Faye and featured empowering talks from Louisiana icons like two-time Super Bowl champion New York Giant and LSU legend, Corey Webster.

  3. 2014–2019

    Chromebook 1:1 Initiative

    As a principal, purchased the first set of 60 Chromebooks, then started the district's 1:1 initiative and grew it to over 32,000 devices before the COVID-19 pandemic.

  4. 2019

    ISTE Exemplary Leadership

    Recipient of the ISTE Education Leaders Network Award for Exemplary Leadership.

  5. 2020

    Empowered Learner Magazine Profile

    Selected as the founding principal of his third school, the Helix Aviation Academy in Baton Rouge, LA. The school opening was subsequently delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wiley then became Executive Director of We Greaux People.

  6. 2021

    Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Alumni

    An alumnus of a program that supports small business owners with practical business education and a community of fellow entrepreneurs.

  7. 2023–2024

    Minds Behind What’s Now and What’s Next

    Featured in EdTech Digest’s State of EdTech 2023–2024.

  8. 2024

    Google Technology Award

    Recognition at the Google for Education Partner Forum, celebrating the work of We Greaux People.

  9. 2025

    Louisiana Legislative Resolution

    Received recognition through a Louisiana legislative resolution from Senator Regina Barrow for his work in education and technology and his impact on local, state, and national communities.

  10. 2026

    HBCU Library Alliance Fellow

    Selected for fellowships with the HBCU Library Alliance, a collaborative community supporting libraries at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
